An Evening of Appreciation

Turning Point Behavioral Health Care Center celebrated its 40th Anniversary at our annual "An Evening of Appreciation" reception on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at the Doubletree Hotel and Conference Center in Skokie, Illinois.

This distinguished annual occasion celebrates and recognizes the contributions of the many friends of Turning Point. Special recognition awards are presented to three individuals in honor of their extraordinary service and commitment to Turning Point. This year's distinguished honorees included Maria Grillo, The Grillo Group, Sheila Meyer, T.A. Cummings Jr. Co., and the Turning Point Recovery Council.

The attendance figures for this year's event were double the amount over last year's tally. Our silent auction saw a wide variety of goods and services at a broad range of prices and values. Thanks to out generous silent auction donors, the number of silent auction items increased this year by 62%.

The date for our 2010 "An Evening of Appreciation" reception is set for Tuesday, June 8, 2010 and will be held at the Doubletree Hotel and Conference Center in Skokie. To those of you, who attended this year's wonderful event, please enjoy our photographic presentation as you revisit the evening's festivities...to those who were not able to attend, take a peek and preview some of what is in store for next year.
