The staff list below includes professional information about our staff members to provide you with a sense of the diversity of our cultures, languages spoken, clinical experiences and specialty areas. Our experienced intake team assigns clients to therapists based on clinical presentation, client needs and preferences as well as staff availability.

Chief Executive Officer
Ann Fisher Raney, LCSW, BCD
Ms. Raney has worked in the field of community mental health for more than 20 years. She continues to maintain a psychotherapy practice and teaches at the University of Chicago. She is currently a member of the Leadership Evanston Signature Class XVIII, and also serves on the Program Committee of the Executive Service Corps of Chicago.
Chief Operating Officer
Kirk Erickson, Psy.D
Dr. Erickson has been employed at Turning Point for 20 years and serving the needs of the mentally ill since the mid 1970’s. He is currently a member of the Village of Skokie
Commission on Family Services.

Richard Basofin, MBA
Mr. Basofin was formerly a partner with the human resources consulting firm, Hewitt Associates. He serves on the boards of the Skokie Public Library, the American Indian Health Service of Chicago, the
North Suburban Business Development Foundation, and
Living Earth Television.
Compliance Officer
Corrie Bennett, MSW, LSW
Ms. Bennett is the Turning Point Compliance Officer. One area of her clinical interests is working with people diagnosed with co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse disorders using the Integrated Dual Disorders Treatment model.
Medical Director
Noorani A. Noorani, M.D.
Dr. Noorani has been a part of the Turning Point team for 15 years. She is strongly committed to community mental health and has a special interest in adult attention deficit disorder, depression and bipolar disorder. She also coordinates psychiatric emergency services at Turning Point. She is fluent in Hindi and Urdu.
Associate Clinical Director
Laura Gerber, MA, LCPC
Ms. Gerber manages all adult programming including adult outpatient services, PSR, Residential programming and ARCHES Adult Case Management. Her areas of interest and expertise include the geriatric population and pervasive developmental disorder spectrum. She is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and is board certified with the American Psychotherapy Association.
Associate Clinical Director
Martina Cortez, MS, LCPC
Ms. Cortez directs the Child & Adolescent Services, the Bridges Program, Emergency Services, and services offered through a contract with the U. S. Probation Office.
Psychiatrists
Beth P. Fraum, M.D., R.D.
Dr. Fraum is a board certified psychiatrist and registered dietitian with a strong commitment to community mental health. She works with immigrants and refugees at Asian Human Services in Chicago. In her Skokie private practice, she focuses on women’s issues. She is fluent in French and understands limited Spanish.
Dan Haycraft, M.D.
Dr. Haycraft is a board certified psychiatrist with an extensive background in Emergency Medicine and business. He served for 5 years as the Medical Director for Turning Point. He has a private psychiatric practice in Skokie. Dr. Haycraft and his wife are known for their publications in the area of couples and relationship issues. Dr. Haycraft specializes in men’s issues and helping patients with treatment-resistant depression and bipolar disorder.
Sue Lin, M.D.
Dr. Lin is a board certified psychiatrist who has worked in community mental health since 1992. She provides services to child and adolescent clients, as well as adults, and specialized in attention deficit disorder and mood disorders in children and adolescents. She has recently returned to Turning Point and is delighted to continue her partnership with this agency.
Clinical Staff Coordinators
Lyndal Andrews, MA, MM, LCSW
Ms. Andrews, Bridges Coordinator, works with adults, adolescents, children and couples. She specializes in mood and anxiety disorders including trauma and relationships. Her areas of special interests include contemporary analytic theory and practice, women’s issues and creative personalities. She also works as a counselor with the Chicago Women’s Health Center.
Laura J. Barrows, Psy.D.
Dr. Barrows, Training Coordinator, manages the training and development of graduate level interns and facilitates continuing education for the staff. She provides psychotherapy for adults. Her areas of interest include depression, anxiety, alternative treatments for mood and anxiety disorders, and psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapies.
Emily Bates, MSMFT
Ms. Bates is the Intake Coordinator.
She has experience providing a wide range of clinical services to children, adolescents, and families. Her areas of interest include family therapy and relationship issues.
Eva Kripotos, MA
Ms. Kripotos, Residential Coordinator, provides care for adults through individual therapy, case management and PSR groups. Her areas of interest include cognitive behavioral therapy. She is fluent in Greek.
David McCracken, MA
Mr. McCracken is the Group and Part-Time Therapist Coordinator. He has worked with adults and adolescents struggling with substance abuse, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and panic disorder. He uses an integrative approach drawing on psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness techniques.
Ronit Peikes, LCSW
Ms. Peikes, Client Service Coordinator, works primarily with adult clients. Her areas of interest and expertise include working with adolescents, school social work and case management.
Mariko Wiseberg, MA, LCPC
Ms. Wiseberg is the Senior Coordinator of Emergency Services. She is fluent in Japanese and is experienced in working with culturally diverse clients. Mariko works with children, adolescents and adults.

Natalie Adair, LCSW
Ms. Adair sees children, adolescents and adults in therapy. Natalie has a clinical interest in women’s issues and life transitions.
Aleksandra Afanasyev
Ms. Afansyev, Bookkeeper and assists the CFO in maintaining the organization’s financial records. She has many years of experience working in the accounting field. She is fluent in Russian.
Krisha Arnold, MA, LCPC
Ms. Arnold is the Linkage Case Manager and Clinical Therapist. She works with adolescents and adults in individual therapy and works with adults concerning case management needs. Her areas of clinical interest include exploring cultural and ethnic diversity.
Elaine Belsito, MA
Ms. Belsito is an Outpatient Therapist helping people feel better, improve relationships, and find more meaning in life. Her clients include children, adults, and she has special training with couples and groups. Her clinical interests include managing long-term mental illness, improving self-awareness through body awareness, and reducing anxious, overactive thinking.
Terry Breitwiser, LCSW
Mr. Breitwiser, Outpatient Therapist, works with adults and adolescents. His specialties include assisting clients with mood disorders and relationship issues, and practicing mindfulness techniques.

Mr. Carter is a member of our Maintenance Staff.
John Carter, MA, LCSW
Mr. Carter, Outpatient Therapist, works with adolescents, adults, couples and families. He enjoys working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Linda Cordero
Ms. Cordero, Marketing Coordinator, in collaboration with the Turning Point marketing team coordinates all aspects of marketing, fundraising, community outreach events and public relations.
Madelyn Correa
Ms. Correa is the Human Resources Manager and Office Manager. She has many years of experience as a secretary in the healthcare field. Her areas of special interest include leading and interacting with client groups.
Steven Davis
Mr. Davis is a member of our clinical and administration support staff. He is pursuing a degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology. He has previous experience as an outpatient registrar and pharmacy technician.
Courtney Emery, MA
Ms. Emery is a PSR, ARCHES and Residential Program Case Manager. Her clinical interests include severe and persistent mental illness, grief, adolescent and adult women, LGBT individuals and individuals living with HIV.
Karen Fayden, MSW
Ms. Fayden, Outpatient Therapist, provides individual therapy to adults and adolescents and also enjoys working with families and couples. Her practice is empathic and client-centered.
Beatrice Finkelstein, Psy.D
Dr. Finkelstein, Adult Outpatient Therapist, works on a wide variety of issues. She provides clinical supervision to a number of staff clinicians and graduate students. Her areas of special interests include anxiety problems and Asperger’s Syndrome.
Marsha Hahn, MA, LSW
Ms. Hahn is an Outpatient Therapist. Her areas of interest include the impact of culture and society on mental health, all schools of psychotherapy, mindfulness and body-centered therapies, spirituality and issues of social injustice.
Shannon Haque
Ms. Haque is a member of our clinical and administrative support team. She has numerous years of experience in the Medical field, including Medical Billing. In addition to supporting clinical and administrative staff, Shannon also assists the CIS Database Administrator and Billing Coordinator.
Diane Hermanek, MSW, LCSW
Ms. Hermanek is a Senior Clinical Supervisor with over 25 years of experience in working with adults and adolescents faced with challenges such as depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, life-change issues, and low self-esteem and self-image. She specializes in clinical supervision, training and consultation.
Ryan Higgins, MS, LCPC
Mr. Higgins is a PSR, ARCHES and Residential Program Case Manager. He provides individual and group counseling. His experience includes facilitating anger management psycho-educational groups to court ordered domestic violence offenders, mentoring children and adolescents in foster care, and working in a psychiatric hospital. His interests include providing therapy to children and adolescents and art therapy.
Kendra Kim
Ms. Kim is the External Relations Associate. Her work includes
CEO support, community relations, grant research and writing, donor information and training sessions, marketing, and bookkeeping support.
MaryAlice Lavin, MSW, LSW
Ms. Lavin, Bridges Case Manager and therapist, and works with children and adolescents with special needs and their families. In addition, she works with adults in individual treatment.
Linda Lee
Ms. Lee, CIS Database Administrator and Billing Coordinator, works directly with insurance companies and assists clients with billing related issues. She is fluent in Korean.
Adam Levin, Psy.D.
Dr. Levin, Outpatient Therapist, facilitates groups in our PSR program including organic gardening and weekly goals groups. He maintains a private practice where he works with children and teaches parenting skills.
Megan Mahoney, MS
Ms. Mahoney is an outpatient therapist. She works on a variety of issues, primarily with adults, couples, families and adolescents. She has special training in Solution Focused Brief Therapy and HMR (trauma resolution technique). While maintaining a client centered and psychoanalytic foundation, Megan integrates different modalities of treatment according to each client’s needs, and has a special interest in holistic/integrative therapies.
Noriko Motomosa, Psy.D.
Dr. Motomosa is an outpatient therapist. She has worked with individuals suffering from a wide spectrum of psychological and interpersonal issues. Her areas of interest include the person-centered approach, psychotherapy effectiveness, creativity, and diversity issues. She is fluent in Japanese.
Meghan Roekle, Psy.D.
Dr. Roekle, Outpatient Therapist, works with adolescents and adults. She maintains a private practice in the community. She is a core faculty member at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and enjoys working with students both at school and as a supervisor at Turning Point.
Julianne Rooney, LCPC
Ms. Rooney, Outpatient Therapist, works with individuals who experience severe, chronic mental illness. She is also a group facilitator with our PSR program. Her experience includes work with adolescents, family therapy, co-parenting issues, and individual therapy with those who experience depression and anxiety.
Lydia Tracy, MA, LPC
Ms. Tracy is a Bridges Case Manager and therapist. She works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Her areas of clinical interest include increasing positive connections and communication between youth and their familes and working with trauma survivors of all ages.
Rayna Trayanova
Ms. Trayanova is a member of our clinical and administrative support staff. She works with all clinical staff, supporting them with client data entry and chart maintenance. She is fluent in Bulgarian and has some knowledge of Russian and Serbian.
Thomas Yokoyama, MA, LPC
Mr. Yokoyama, Child and Adolescent Program Therapist, works with adolescent males, adult males and females. He leads a bipolar support group. His areas of interest include diversity and career exploration.
Christina Zerwer, MA, LCPC
Ms. Zerwer is a Clinical Therapist, and works primarily with adults. She has been involved in working with Native American and Hispanic cultures. Ms. Zerwer has received training in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).
