TURNING POINT BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CARE CENTER
TO HONOR ADVOCATES OF MENTAL HEALTH CARE AT ANNUAL BENEFIT
Turning Point Behavioral Health Care Center will host its annual benefit on Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Evanston Golf Club, 4401 Dempster St. in Skokie. This year’s benefit will honor outstanding individuals for their commitment to and support of comprehensive, high quality mental health care for everyone. Guests will enjoy live music, a silent auction and raffle, a seated dinner, and a unique "Wellness Tips" video booth where attendees can offer their personal ideas about how to stay happy, healthy and resilient.
“While specific challenges and circumstances come and go every year," said Turning Point’s CEO, Ann Fisher Raney, “we at Turning Point continually strive to provide assurance, resilience and a sense of optimism about the journey of recovery. We are honored to partner with our clients in this effort and we are delighted to celebrate individuals and organizations who have supported our mission. Our Benefit event is a chance to say thank you, to connect with others who share our vision, and to gather ourselves as a community to continue this important work.”
The Turning Point staff of over 60 clinicians and support staff provide care to children over the age of five, families and adults. In 2016, Turning Point provided care to over 1,200 individuals. Turning Point’s Open Access program and The Living Room at Turning Point crisis center serve as models of innovative community based mental health care.
