Jodie Ardaunov

Ms. Arnaudov is a Senior Engagement Specialist and Therapist, and enjoys working with individuals of all ages. She has extensive experience working in community based settings with individuals experiencing homelessness. Her clinical areas of interest include trauma, life transitions, family dynamics, and grief.

Q: What is your role at Turning Point?

My title is Senior Engagement Specialist. My role involves contacting clients who have missed scheduled appointments and engaging them in a discussion about attendance. I also have a caseload of clients I see for individual therapy

Q: What tools, techniques, or areas of expertise do you focus on at Turning Point?

I have several years of experience doing administrative work and it has been very helpful in assisting with the development of the engagement program

Q: What made you decide to go into the field of mental health?

I studied anthropology and psychology in college and have always been interested in human behavior

Q: What do you enjoy most about working with clients?

Witnessing transformation

Q: How do you stay healthy and relieve stress?

I try to leave work at work and I spend a lot of time with my family.

Q:  What is the single most important advice you like to give to clients?

You’re worth it.

Q: What is the most recent book you enjoyed?

Sonya’s Chickens (I read lots of children’s books with my 2 year-old). I also just started First Bite: How We Learn to Eat and it’s fascinating
