Turning Point was pleased to host a free community conversation for parents entitled Mental Health & Wellness for Teens Today on Friday, January 31st at Skokie School District 68, the ELL Parent Center.
Turning Point looks forward to increasing the frequency of the forums and expanding the effort to a larger regional area. The 10-week program with Skokie Public Library represented the first phase of the project, with other similar collaborations to be hosted in adjacent geographic areas, coordinated by Turning Point. Turning Point will be coordinating the groups for teens, as well as hosting community conversations for parents in various regional areas.
NorthShore University HealthSystem is the lead sponsor of this regional effort. The program is an expansion of a previous pilot program supported by the Skokie Community Foundation.
