UPDATE RE: THE LIVING ROOM DURING THE COVID-19 CRISIS:
Turning Point’s crisis programs include our innovative program, The Living Room & Resource Center at Turning Point.
With no out of pocket cost to guests, The Living Room provides a comfortable environment and an alternative to hospital emergency rooms for adults experiencing psychiatric crises.
The Living Room’s talented team, which includes therapists and trained Recovery Support Specialists, works to help each guest resolve their crisis with a supportive and compassionate approach. The Living Room offers a number of services including support, assistance with problem solving, referrals for shelter, healthcare, and nearby pantries, all within a safe space in which to rest and relax.
The Living Room serves only adults over the age of 18, without the restriction of a catchment area.
The Living Room staff can be reached during open hours at 847-324-6188. Individuals experiencing a crisis outside of Living Room hours can call our 24 hour crisis line at 847-933-9202, and follow the prompts to reach a crisis worker.
