In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, Turning Point Behavioral Health Care Center has remained resolute in caring for underserved communities by transitioning its many mental health services to virtual formats.
Located in Skokie, Turning Point serves children, adults and families from throughout the Chicago metropolitan area with no geographic restrictions. Caring for approximately 1,300 individuals annually, Turning Point is committed to providing a wide range of mental health services to its primarily low-income clientele. Approximately 90% of Turning Point’s clients are low-income and Turning Point accepts many Medicaid and Medicaid Managed Care plans, as well as Blue Cross Blue Shield and a variety of other insurance plans.

Our mission is to provide Solid Support, when you need it most. In this time of crisis and fear, that support is needed more than ever. We have prioritized the safety of our community and the swift transition to new virtual formats so as to provide our vulnerable clients with continuity of care during this troubling time.”
Turning Point is now providing individual and group therapy as well as crisis services through remote and telehealth formats. Clients are responding well to this new mode of care and Turning Point continues to explore additional ways to expand on its offerings during the Coronavirus crisis and beyond.
