LAUNCHING PRIDE CONNECTIONS SUPPORT GROUP

PRIDE CONNECTIONS, a new support group, is being launched by Turning Point Behavioral Health Care Center and the National Alliance on Mental Illness – Cook County North Suburban. This group is still welcoming new participants on an ongoing basis! Please contact us for more info through the NAMI link below.

PRIDE CONNECTIONS is for adults who identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community. It will begin on Wednesday, March 27 and continue for 10 weeks through Wednesday, May 29, meeting weekly from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Turning Point.

Participation in this group is free of charge and all identities are welcome. The program has been generously funded by a grant from the Skokie Community Foundation.

The group will be jointly led by a female-identifying Turning Point counselor and a male-identifying NAMI trained facilitator. The group will feature casual community conversations in a safe space.
