Turning Point is pleased to participate in Nurtured by Nature, an event presented by the Forest Preserves of Cook County, Cook County Commissioner Josina Morita, and State Senator Laura Fine.

Join us for a fun day in the forest preserve, exploring the physical and mental health benefits of being in nature! Yoga, storytelling, tai chi, art therapy, a bird walk, and much more. All sorts of activities for adults and kids, so bring the family!

Turning Point Behavioral Health Care Center is an award-winning non-profit outpatient mental health center that exists to provide solid support, when and where you need it most. At Turning Point, we are committed to providing expert, affordable and compassionate care to people during some of the most difficult times of their lives.  Annually, Turning Point provides care for approximately 1,400 clients, both children and adults from throughout the Chicago metro area, approximately 90% of whom are low income. Turning Point has been serving the community with distinction for over 50 years and has received highest ratings by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, and been honored with numerous local and national awards including the 2017 Excellence in Mental Health Award from the Illinois Association for Behavioral Health and the 2015 Impact Award for Excellence in Behavioral Healthcare Management from the National Council for Behavioral Health. Most recently, Turning Point was honored to receive the 2021 Skokie Business of the Year Award.
