TURNING POINT PARTNERS WITH ENDEAVOR HEALTH TO PROVIDE MOBILE MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS SUPPORT

Turning Point Behavioral Health Care Center receives $571,600 to advance mental health care through a mobile unit for crisis support and educational outreach.

Turning Point Behavioral Health Care Center, an award-winning outpatient mental health center dedicated to providing solid support when and where it’s needed most, is proud to announce its selection as a partner in Endeavor Health’s 2024 Community Investment Fund (CIF).

Turning Point has been awarded $571,600 over three years to purchase and operate a mobile vehicle that will provide crisis support and educational outreach in the community. This mobile unit will complement the program at Turning Point’s new Living Room facility in Evanston.

Turning Point’s CEO, Ann Fisher Raney, said, “We are deeply grateful to Endeavor Health for this award, which demonstrates its commitment to the wellbeing of our community. This mobile unit will facilitate mental health support and educational outreach and make these resources available to our neighbors where they work and play.”

Endeavor Health selected Turning Point Behavioral Health Care Center as one of 43 local organizations across the Chicagoland area to collaborate on programs focused on behavioral health, violence prevention, housing and food insecurity, access to care and workforce development.
